Actor | Content Creator | Linguist
One unexpected skill has been the plumb line through my unexpected journey as an actor, content creator, linguist, writer, engineer and investor.
At age 14, I was your average, monolingual Californian skater kid.
At 20, I was communicating in seven languages and fluent in four. I graduated early with a bachelor’s in three fields, and by then was working full time as an engineer for a solar energy company.
After moving to Germany and earning a master of science degree in Computational Linguistics, I was hired by a global fortune 500 company as a Spanish-language expert to create AI training data.
But I was soon back in California, partnering with a popular YouTube channel to create and voice their German-language spinoff.
I kept acting on narrative and commercial projects in a variety of languages, and then moved to Mexico City to star as the villain in Latin America’s first major western, a flagship Prime original series.
These days, when I’m not acting I spend most of my time writing and producing content.
The common thread is languages.
If you happen across me at your local coffee shop, be sure to say hi!
Don’t worry: this is not a newsletter. You’ll only hear when a major project gets released. So like, once every couple years. I hate spam too, and respect your privacy.
